VTC in Hautes-Alpes (05)

Gap is the prefecture of Hautes-Alpes, and 28 VTC (private hire vehicle) operators are registered there for the department. Briançon and Embrun are the other urban centres, while ski resorts such as Serre Chevalier or Montgenèvre generate strong seasonal demand. Transfers to Grenoble-Isère airport or to Marseille-Provence follow mountain roads, which considerably lengthen journey times in winter.
